Nevermore Farms exists because apparently we looked at a normal, manageable life and thought, “That seems boring.”

Our mission is to raise happy animals, grow and produce what we can, waste as little as possible, and become increasingly self-sufficient despite repeatedly creating more work for ourselves in the process.

We believe animals deserve good lives, good food, plenty of space, and names that inevitably result in us becoming emotionally attached to absolutely everything.

We believe in learning as we go, trying new things just to see if they work, and occasionally standing in the middle of the farm wondering how exactly our lives came to involve this many species.

Nevermore Farms isn’t about being a perfect homestead. It’s about building a life that feels like ours: a little chaotic, slightly overambitious, covered in dirt and feathers, probably hatching something, and always trying to do right by the animals and the land we care for.
