Feral Cooking

A handful of this. A little chaos.

Comfort food, kitchen experiments, and the occasional recipe that started with “what if?”

Two squash halves piled with colorful toppings on a baking tray.

Some dinners begin with a plan. Others begin with opening the fridge and seeing what looks like it wants to become food. Both belong here.

Feral Cooking is the home for comfort food, colorful bowls, baking days, and kitchen experiments that are worth remembering. A loaded squash, a tray of bread, or something thrown together after a long day outside: this is food from real life.

The cookbook starts somewhere

This is where the good ideas can become kitchen notes, and the kitchen notes can become recipes. Maybe, eventually, a cookbook. First: make something worth eating.
